Optical Prism

Prism systems are an important part of optical systems. An optical prism is a solid optical glass that is ground and polished to a certain geometric shape. The angle, position, and number of optical flat crystals help define the type and function of optical prisms. The presence of prisms can have a significant impact on optical systems, mainly reflected in the following aspects: (1) changing the direction of light propagation. (2) Change the direction of the image. (3) Produce axial displacement of the image. (4) Limit the lateral size of the beam. (5) Introduce aberration, mainly spherical aberration and axial chromatic aberration.

BOTE can produce various specifications and angles of optical prisms, using different glass materials (Schott, Ohara, CDGM, Fused Silica, etc.).
